Creative Practice for Self-Supervision

This course is a great way for counsellors and psychotherapists to develop their own Creative Practice. Just as you might have a yoga or meditation practice, a Creative Practice is a way to connect with a deeper aspect of yourself. Using a Creative Practice can deepen the self- supervision process and bring new layers of understanding to your client work. The inner supervisor is what allows us to become reflective and reflexive with our clients.

A Creative Approach
to Story

What's the story?

That's the question we all explore with clients. This workshop invites a deeper voice to come into the room, allowing your client to discover a way of listening to their inner wisdom, showing a pathway through to transformation.
This approach is especially practical when working with clients who present the same story in different circumstances, yet seem stuck when making the changes that might free them from that story.

A Creative Approach to

Inner Child Work

This on-demand workshop takes a creative approach to explore psychological frameworks we as therapists use to scaffold inner child work. It is suitable for counselors, and psychotherapists.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE

The workshop will help you explore your attitudes and perspectives on inner child work. It will allow you to become clearer about the psychological framework you use to support inner child work, building confidence and competence in this area of practice. Using art, you will be invited to deepen your relationship with your own inner child as a foundation for your work with clients.

The workshop comes in three modules which you can take your time with and do at your own pace.

The program consists of three modules, each one building on the learning and insights from the last.

Boundary issues come into the therapy room all the time and this program invites you to pause and reconsider boundaries from the perspective of awareness and will.
Moving through, first building a strong psychological foundation for what boundaries are and how a self-boundary is formed, to what weaknesses in those self-boundary present like in the therapy room with adults. We explore how we might work with them, and lastly, we explore the role of boundaries in relationships.

Throughout the modules, there are art exercises to explore your relationship with boundaries, taking time to reflect and work with your images to gain greater insights and bring the conscious and unconscious mind, into a better relationship.
