This is the next level for those of us who love colouring-in. Think of it as an ideal opportunity to step outside the activity of your ordinary life and refresh your spirit with creative energy. That’s what having a Creative Practice is all about.

Colouring-in is a way to calm the mind and as it is a whole-brain activity, it actually increases better mental health and wellbeing. So it’s not just fun, it’s good for you.

The beauty of colouring-in is that anyone can do it. You don't need to be an artist; you just do whatever feels right for you. This activity presents you with an opportunity to notice HOW you are while you are doing it.
Become mindful of your body and any areas of tension or stress, notice your breathing and how you’re feeling. Observe what you are thinking about without getting caught up in the story.

Ask your self how you are at the beginning, in the middle and when you finished? Over time, asking questions like this develops a gentle mindfulness practices, a kind of check-in with yourself that enriches and supports your life as a whole. Let this be your own exploration of the creative spirit.

I suggest setting aside some ME time, relax and enjoy the experience while ever so gently, include without judgement all of who you are.
It's surprising how much you can learn about yourself when you begin to
